Carol Brady Art

Pinky Promise

Pinky Promise

“Pinky Promise” is a print that shows the bright, powerful nature of friendship.

Carol painted this piece in 2022 for one of her closest friends. The composition is shaped like a crescent moon with bold pinks and golds. The original painting measured 36"x48".

This piece will look best on canvas as the gold color is harder to evoke on paper.

Read about each printing option below:

Art Print

Art Prints are printed onto premium archival smooth matte paper and arrive as a loose print ready for you to frame.

Framed Canvas

Framed Canvas is printed directly onto archival-grade canvas and wrapped in an oak floating frame. We print on canvas that is pH neutral and acid-free, so it will last for generations. This option looks like an original painting without the cost.

Frame Details:

  • Depth: Each frame is 1.625" deep.
  • Width: Each frame is 0.5" wide.
  • Floating Effect: There is a small .1" gap between the frame and the canvas to create a "floating" effect.
  • Material: The frame is made of timeless unstained oak.

To Determine the Overall Size:

  1. Add 1.2" to both the length and width of your canvas size.

This accounts for the frame’s dimensions and the floating effect.

When she’s not painting, Carol enjoys spending time outdoors with her wife and two children, exploring the world around her and drawing inspiration from the everyday moments that connect us to nature.

In addition to painting, Carol is an avid creative with a love for classical clarinet, piano, singing, and embroidery. At her core, she believes that everyone is an artist, capable of expressing themselves in unique and powerful ways.

Carol believes that we are all artists.

“I met someone who told me he was an artist, so I thought he made art for a living.” she shared on Instagram. “ As we got to be better friends I learned he was a big time boss. Powerful. I was intimidated and confused. “I thought you were an artist?” she said to him. So he showed me his writings, his paintings, his dancing, and his thoughts. 'My job is not who I am. I’m an artist, I create.' he said." Carol has called herself an artist ever since.
